"help ls" hangs mid output

Description
I tried on linux x86_64 and MacOS (Intel) with a fresh download and after I log in as user Repair and change the password, "help ls" works until displaying
-name, -nm
print names column.
then hangs (Ctrl-C works). Other help output works correctly.

This was fixed at some point by some MCR that Gary authored. Not sure which one.
